The Regenerative Woodcrafts Research Archive
Felling and Conversion
Coppice felling is done right at the stool, using precise low cuts that set up strong, healthy regrowth.
Each coupe is harvested in rotation, with traditional cutting tools still prized for their control, speed, and clean cuts.
Freshly cut poles are split, seasoned, and prepared, transforming raw woodland material into durable craft-ready timber.
